In the first phase preparatory research was performed. This included beside research on recommendations, standards and open source solutions, defining the project partners' priorities, analysing the organizations and writing the software requirements document. Development of the core system was also started. Research results are included in the research reports (report, extended report) submitted to the Belgian Science Policy.
In the second phase firstly the process-specific modules will be developed. Secondly, the implementation of the application in the partner institutions will be prepared by means of promotion, training of IT-staff, user training and user support. Thirdly, the application will be implemented in the form of an operational prototype and tested allowing further elaboration and refinement. Fourthly, software maintenance after the project's ending will be prepared.
